I almost never take pictures. When I see something cool I tend to watch it for as long as possible instead of taking a picture. Part of the reason I am taking photography is because I wanted to break that habit. Because of this I literally have no favorite pictures that I have taken outside of this trimester. Instead I am going to put my favorite pictures I now have only because I took this class.
This is slightly different than the version in glitches. I like it better without the "glitched" pixels. My dog waits like this whenever someone he wants to see is outside. I think its a cool picture of him and am glad that I took it for a assignment.
One reason I used to not take pictures was that they looked different than what I actually saw. I had to take my dog out at night during this trimester and one night the moon was super bright. I took a picture and it looked nothing like what I could see in real life. I was about to delete it and then realized I could edit it with what I have learned. I was able to get it to look like what I had actually seen, and I thought that was really cool. That is why this is one of my favorite pictures.
These are two slightly different Images I took at the same time and place. It was fun to be creative when thinking about how to get pictures for different assignments. I also like both for completely different reasons even though they are so similar. I found this really Interesting.
I originally had just edited this one normally, but just before I saved and exported it I got curious as to what it would look like in black and white. I tried it and after messing with the balance for a while I got a kind of spooky picture that I liked way more. I had continued trying to improve the picture even after I thought I had done enough to get credit.
This one doesn't have as much meaning or reasoning behind it. It was just a lot of fun to make. But having fun in an art class is important too I think.
These are my favorite/best photos both because I like how they look, and because I improved while working on them. Each one helped further my ability to take better and more creative pictures.
